Baisakhi wishes in English – Baisakhi is a festival celebrated on April 14th as the beginning of the Vaisakh month. This festival is widely celebrated in North India, especially in Punjab to celebrate the start of the harvest season. It is also celebrated by Sikhs to mark the formation of the Khalsa Panth of warriors under Guru Gobind Singh. During this day, people visit the nearest Gurudwaras and offer prayers. The Baisakhi processions along with traditional performances (singing and dancing in groups) are carried out.
